Fabian Maier receives the Wilhelm Macke Award
Congratulations to Fabian, who received the Wilhelm Macke Award of the Johannes Kepler University Linz (JKU) for his outstanding Master's thesis. The award is presented by the Wilhelm Macke Stipendienstiftung, and the finalists present their work in a public talk with the audience acting as the jury — Fabian won them over with his talk "Bessere Mikroskope für Quantenforschung" ("Better microscopes for quantum research").
Fabian is a PhD student on our Yb hybrid tweezer-lattice experiment.
